The Big Island's Anaeho'omalu Beach Park
Known to many as A-Bay, with a background of hundreds of lovely coconut palm trees,
Anaeho'omalu Beach is famous for its awe-inspiring sunsets. It's a perfect spot to lay in the sun or sit in the
shade of one of the palm trees with beautiful scenery all around. Calm waters allow for
leisurely swimming and snorkeling, and there are a number of small inlets along the shoreline, which are nearly
always vacant. Watch carefully and you will often see Hawaiian sea turtles swimming in the shallows,
especially at the south end of the bay. Snorkling conditions can vary greatly and we've found it necessary to
swim a distance from the beach to find coral in shallower water for good snorkeling. Click here to check out
